- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Portrait clients can expect to spend $395 on their session + digital images. Additional printed items are available. Wedding investments start at $2400 for full day coverage.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before the session, all clients have a complimentary portrait planning consultations either at the studio or by phone. During the consultation, we discuss style, location, wardrobe, and available products to best plan the session. During the session we will laugh, play, and have a great time, while photographing your family or your wedding in the most natural way possible. Sessions can take place in the Canandaigua studio, at a beautiful outdoor location, or in the comfort of your own home. Once the session is complete we will review the images together and decide which portrait products best fit into your home and your life. My clients tend to choose a combination of digital files and beautiful professionally printed products.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Associate of Applied Business degree in 2003 with a focus on Graphic Design and Photography. After several years in Graphic Design, I decided that my true passion was for preserving memories for young families. I founded Mischief and Laughs Photography in 2010 and since then I've participated in yearly workshops and stretch my skills and hone my artistic eye.
