Private and group lessons are offered as well as opportunities to play for peers. Many of my students have performed as concertmasters, band leaders, soloists, and ensemble players in all musical styles.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I use the freedom of motion principles of violin & string playing based on the teachings and research of Paul Rolland and Shinichi Suzuki.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Masters Degree in String Pedagogy and served on the faculty of North Carolina School of Arts, Salem College in N Carolina. I’m currently Music Director at Mission Dolores Academy String Program, San Francisco and Violin Faculty of Crowden Music Center, Berkeley.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always enjoyed teaching. A violin professor encouraged me to continue studying to help others.
