Kellen is awesome. My son took guitar lessons from him and made great progress. Plus he really enjoyed being around Kellen, so he looked forward to his lesson each week. Most recently, we used Adam W. as a vocal coach from Music by Ross. Kellen was able to set us up with him on short notice. My son needed a little help preparing for his first gig as a lead singer, and Adam was very productive in only two lessons. We will be using Adam again in the near future. Music by Ross is the best company for all of your music needs.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    1) First and foremost, always call your music lessons provider. We get a lot of calls from dissatisfied students who signed up for lessons and either a) didn't receive the services, or b) the teacher wasn't certified/qualified. 2) Be sure that the company you hire for music lessons interviews their instructors in person. Believe it or not, many companies don't do this. 3) Make sure that your music lessons are taught by a certified teacher. In other words, ask the company the qualifications they require of their instructors - there should be no less than 3 mandatory qualifications. 4) Be sure that your lessons carry over month-to-month. Most music lesson providers have expiration dates on their purchases. If you get sick, or go out of town, your lessons credits will be charged. 5) Make sure that your lessons provider allows you to read the terms and conditions. No surprises. 6) Last but not least, take lessons in your home! Too many people call our company because they were taking lessons at a local music store or studio. These lessons are what I call "turn 'em and burn 'em" lessons. They are not focused on the student. They ARE focused on quantity and filling in each available hour with lessons. Most of these lessons providers are forced to teach by a generic curriculum as well - By taking lessons in your home, you get the hour of lessons free of distractions, and you will get an instructor that is qualified to assess your skill level, and design your lesson plans around your unique goals!
