- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fee for service is a flat rate that is payable at the time the service is rendered.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, when meeting a new client, I use a full 60 minute hour to conduct an initial assessment and see what has brought the client to therapy. Following that initial 60 minute session, I most commonly meet with clients 1-2 times per week, depending on their needs, for 45-50 minutes per session. There is a lot of trust building during the initial sessions and I would say it takes about a month to feel 100% comfortable with a new therapist.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I collect continuing educations units nearly every month through networking meetings with the San Fernando Valley chapter of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists). I further my education by completing other continuing education units in various areas of the field to keep up with trends and treatment modalities.
