I found Ayad on craigslist when I was looking for a private tutor to help me learn Arabic. I work at a translation and localization firm, so the more languages you know (or at least have a basic understanding for) the better!
Ayad is very patient, helpful and professional. He was able to help me define what it was that I am looking to accomplish with Arabic and to develop an appropriate learning plan accordingly. We now meet once a week and go over the weekly lessons. My pronunciation needs a lot of work, but he is patient and flexible.
My schedule is often another challenge. I'm pretty busy most days of the week, but Ayad is very flexible and able to meet in different places on different days depending on what I can manage each week (a huge help to me!!)
I know he also is a translator and interpreter and based on his mastery of the Arabic language and his proficiency in English, I don't doubt that he is excellent at translation and interpretation as well!

Ayad is an excellent instructor. He is obviously passionate about the Arabic language and intereste din sharing that passion. He is also exceptionally patient and willing to work with studyents until they get a word, grammar rule, or concept right.

Ayyad is a terrific instructor. Of the language instructors I have worked with, he is the best, most patient, and is also very effective! I hope to work with him more in the future.
