Introduction: I am a movement educator for children 2-12 years old. By day, I am a preschool teacher, and by evening, I am a choreographer developing my own dance-theater performances. I offer a movement-based class that promotes natural forms of movement via our inherently valid bodies. These bodies move in unique fashions; this class supports the unique ways we run, jump, spin, fall, sit, crawl, et cetera. Improvisation will be a core aspect of this class, inviting the instinctual interpretations and decisions of your little one's individual body. To dance is to feel. To feel is to experience. With experience comes growth. Invite an educator into your child's life that respects his/her unique abilities and supports his/her development as a natural-born mover (dancer). My rates are malleable depending on your financial income. My current clients include families living in TriBeCa, the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side, and Brooklyn Heights.
