Introduction: I offer personal training. I have been a certified personal trainer since 1997 by AFAA and by the Wingate Institute, Israel since 1987. I was a military fitness instructor and a martial arts instructor of Krav Maga, aka contact combat, training special units, which are only men, from 1986 to 1988 in the I.D.F. I owned a gym and two dance studios in Tel Aviv, Israel, teaching one-on-one personal training, as well as group classes until I came to the USA in 1995. I resumed group fitness instruction in 1997 at Equinox, at 19th St, 63rd St, 92nd St and 54th St, Chelsey Piers, and Crunch at 54th St. I brought Krav Maga-style kickboxing classes and belly dance classes for fitness to the Gyms in NYC, and from there, my career took off. I was featured in Time Out magazine, NY Times' science section and sunday styles section twice, Vogue, Elle, Shape, Sportsfile and the New york Post twice, On TV, I have been featured on Channel 1 NY, 7, and 12 in Fitness California. With training experience at all levels, I help my clients achieve long-term results with varied and challenging workout. I will design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for athletes and work one-on-one with both active and sedentary clients. I offer the most current fitness information to provide the best service available. In-Home Training: Together we discuss your goal and evaluate your fitness level to develop a program customized for you. Because every individual is unique, my approach is personally tailored to your needs and goals. Group Training: Have a fun workout with friends, family or teammates. Working out in a group can be a nice change of pace and add a social and motivational element to your workout experience. Training sessions include: Warm up: This is the time to get the blood flowing to warm the muscles and tissues of the body in preparation for your workout, usually consisting of light cardiac work and can be followed by light stretching. Strengthening: Time to focus your mind and build strength to shape and tone your body, build strong bones and increase lean muscles mass. Cardio and Endurance: Open the lungs and heart, and burn fat with a unique interval training combination of fun and challenging exercises. Cool Down: Transition slowly from a rewarding workout to a cooler state of body and more relaxed mind. Hands on Stretching: Gain Flexibility and maximize range of motion. Decrease muscles soreness. I utilize Shiatsu techniques, as well as deep tissue stretching. Over all, working out increases a greater sense of well-being, increases energy, increases lean muscle mass, and improves your cardiac status and metabolism, leading to greater self-confidence, enjoyment and functionality in life. What do I offer? I offer personal training, "Fusion Flow", kickboxing, belly dancing, outdoors boot camp training, as well as light Zumba. I have been a reflexologist since 1997.
