I have requested to have certain pictures on his web site. Within days what I requested was there. He answers any questions you have and I was impressed not only with quality of his work, but how easy it is to use his web site. I would recommend his work to anyone.

JC was very accommodating in helping us photograph our annual awards banquet. In spite of the fact that it was a last-minute assignment, he came through for us and produced excellent work. We will use him again and would recommend him to others.

Excellent photographer, went to a lot of effort to make sure the pictures were absolutely perfect and that we were satisfied with the end product. We've used him several times and will use him again.

We use Old 81 Studios for all our kids' school pictures and for our Family pictures too. I have ALWAYS been pleased with his work and his attention to details. He was amazing with my 6 year old niece who did not want her picture taken at all and with my 8 month old niece. Soo very patient and understanding!! I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone!!

FAQs

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I am very proud of a moral booster campaign that I did for US Soldiers overseas. It was called, "BOMBSHELLS: FOR THE TROOPS". This was done to commemorate a tradition that started back in the 1940's, during WW2. The tasteful pinup photos that I sent over were hand stamped on the back with a specially made stamp that read "ACTIVE DUTY SPECIAL EDITION". This went over very well with our service men and women as they had a piece of Americana pinned to their wall or locker. I hope that those unique photos became a keepsake for them to keep or pass on. I hope to do this again while our troops are over there serving our country.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

A photo shoot may only last an hour but there are many hours beyond that photo shoot that involve a creative process. That process is what makes a Photographer become an Artist. A photographer's style is not created overnight. That style takes time to develop and years to master.
