About
I worked at Kay’s Collective in Oakland, where I specialized in cutting hair according to each client’s personalized color harmony, focusing on facial structure and hair textures that create balance and complement each person’s unique beauty. I also worked as a Paul Mitchell Educator for nine years and has worked at many Paul Mitchell Hair Shows. I traveled through out California as an educator and was trained by top Paul Mitchell educators such as Jean Braa, Robert Crowmeans, and the Chadwicks. “ I love bringing out each client’s inner beauty and helping people feel great about themselves.   I’m committed to each client being positively transformed.”

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes, it's very important to stay up on the latest fashion hairstyle. I take 4 classes per year and attend Hairshows.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask a lot of questions. Bring photos. Tell your stylist what works for your hair or what doesn't work. Ask how long they have been doing hair and their skill set? When was their last hair education?

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I started cutting hair when I was 12 years old. My mother used to baby sit kids at our house. I gave one of the girls a Farrah Fawcett feather cut, which was very popular in the 70's. Her mother loved her haircut and asked me if I could cut her husbands hair.
