In one of my garden beds, here are cabbages enjoying the cozy company of scallions and cilantro--an example of two organic gardening methods: "intensive" and "companion" plantings.
As a 3rd generation gardener and an organic gardener for 35 years, I know a lot about growing great food organically, without synthetic chemicals; and want to help others get the same pleasures I do out of it: good nutrition, exercise, optimism, saving money, and feeding your spirit and your soul.
I have instructed classes privately and publicly in many places, including for county employee and hospital wellness programs. They're a fun and educational, you'll have the information for life. People come away happy to be armed with information on: how to locate a garden, compost, grow from seed under lights, know what and when to plant, fight bad bugs, fertilize, understand raised beds, and more.
I make the lessons fun and easy to understand. You can arrange classes with co-workers or your social network at my beautiful rural home, using my productive garden as a demo, or if you're local enough I'll come to you and be your gardening coach!
Some of my clients: Employee wellness programs for the government of Chester County, Shire Pharmaceuticals , and Independence Blue Cross; classes for Downingtown Area Recreation Consortium and Chester County Night School, Brandywine Hospital Healthy Woman Group, Montgomery County Community College, and the Chester County Library System; also many private groups.

A. I am easy to work with, enjoy people, and would love if you/your group would come to my location which is relaxing and even features outdoor artwork for inspiration. However, will also come to instruct you privately as a coach, including direct on-site advice about your garden or garden-to-be. Also can instruct a group you have put together either at your home, or at your place of business.
A. Growing without synthetic chemicals saves money and ultimately saves labor. I call it the Organic Gardening Equation.
Also, you can grow almost any vegetable in a container. Look for the right variety.
A. How much experience do you have? Can you make the information accessible rather than complex and confusing. What level of gardening are you talking about? What if I don't have a yard and want to grow in containers?
A. I love meeting new people who love growing things or want to learn how. The world never has too many gardeners, especially people who want to do it responsibly, i. e. organically. And there's always something I can learn from my students as well because everyone's situation and experiences are different. That's what makes things interesting.
A. I offer a sliding fee which depends on your interest: Employee wellness program for a business or corporation; a nonprofit organization; a school; a private group; a private individual.
