FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading and learning. You're never done learning and growing as a personal trainer. I attend workshops and lectures every year to broaden my knowledge base. I also aquire new certifications to enable me to further help my clients succeed.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Over the years I've worked with a wide variety of clientele. From young children to the elderly. I've worked with athletes and post rehabilitation clients.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It's important to know what kinds of questions to ask a personal trainer. Questions I would ask: 1. "What are you currently reading about regarding training, exercise, nutrition, ect?" - If the trainer answers back talking about magazine articles or has no real answer at all, walk away. In this industry we are ALWAYS learning. There is always new information regarding exercise, nutrition, training philosophies, ect. The last thing you want as a client is a trainer that relies on outdated & possibly ineffective information. 2. "What results have you delivered for your clients?" - If they hesitate for even a second on this, you should be weary. Good trainers know exactly what they've done for their clients. Ask for testimonials if necessary.
