FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To keep my certification up to date I do 20 continuing education credits every two years. So I take fun classes to learn things like plyometrics, strength and flexibility, or even combining supplements. The continuing ed courses are seemingly endless and have tons of great information to keep me up to date with the latest in health and fitness.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been athletic for as long as I can remember. I played basketball, softball, and football up through high school. When I was 14 I started strength training with a family friend who is a personal trainer. This is when I knew that I would also become a trainer. He helped change my whole lifestyle, and that is what I hope to do for you!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise any customer to really look at all your options. Pick the trainer that you think you will bond the most with. If you have no connection or bond with your trainer you will most likely see less results, and eventually fall off your new routine.
