I sat down for a philosophical counseling session with Mark at a time in my life when I wasn't sure, at 23, who I was, what I wanted, and what made me happy. Within an hour he had left me not only with a ton of questions, but some ways to find answers. I believe that Mark had a tremendous impact on my figuring out who I wanted to be in this world, what my values were when it came to what I was looking for in a relationship, what I find personally and professionally fulfilling, and how to figure out just what makes me happy. On the cusp between brilliant best friend and incredibly insightful therapist, Mark will not ask you "Why do you think you feel this way?" But instead, "How can I start feeling better?" and open doors for you to find the way.

Very helpful. I had never heard of philosophical counseling. Mark was professional, thoughtful, and supportive. He helped me talk through my issues and provided guidance on new ways to look at myself and my problems. I really liked his approach to counseling.
