Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I'm a young and enthusiastic piano teacher who will come to your house to help you or your kids fall in love with music. I've had great success teaching kids of all ages from beginner to intermediate. I have introduced many kids between the ages of four to 12 to the piano for the first time. I know how to make reading music and playing music fun. Every student I have taught looks forward to our next lesson and is excited to practice and make progress. For intermediate students, we can focus on classical, jazz, or songwriting. Playing piano can be one of the most joyful, relaxing things in the world, and I strive to pass that attitude on to all of my students. For a patient, fun teacher who will make your child fall in love with piano, I'm your gal.

We absolutely love Muriel! Our only negative issue with her is that we no longer live nearby, so my son can't continue his piano lessons with her! Muriel came our way through a recommendation on a mother's group in our neighborhood. We had tried a few piano teachers before, and liked them well enough but when we met Muriel we knew she was truly special. My son is 5 and started with Muriel when he was 4. She had such a special way of interacting with him, and also had an excellent balance of being strict enough to be serious, but also fun. She saw that my son liked musical theatre and so she had him prepare some of his favorite songs from musicals. I am sure this took her some extra time and work, but the results were worth it because practicing became a joy instead of a chore. At the recital that she organized it was evident that all the kids lucky enough to have her as a teacher were thriving. She encouraged kids to learn the rules of music, but also to experiment-- in my son's case experimenting took the form of playing songs that aren't in the normal kids repertoire-- but many of her students composed their own pieces. She was extremely communicative with me and my son was always thrilled when it was a "Miss Muriel Day." You won't regret working with this wonderful teacher!
