Introduction: I do individualized custom lessons. While I have standard starting points I don't mind varying the mix to adapt to the students interests. My Students learn at their own pace and I learn as much from them as they learn from me. I love music and working with music is my dream. The more time I spend with it the happier I am and I love having the opportunity to share this with others.

She was very friendly and my son got on well with her. She brought in music that she knew he would respond well to, which was great except that I was given a receipt and expected to pay for it without prior knowledge. Luckily it was only a few dollars, but I feel it should have been discussed with me. She seems like she is really good with kids, but I felt like She mostly just told him what songs to work on and didn't seem to give much instruction. At least that was my perception. All-in-all, she has been an ok piano teacher.

I was very eager to work with this little boy. I'm sorry that I didn't realize that the music I brought was going to be a problem. Her son was so smart I felt he was catching on without a lot of lecturing. Each student does need different direction and I do try to adjust my style accordingly.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I ask $15 for a half hour lesson in my home. $20 for a half hour lesson in my student's home.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If the student has already had some lessons, at the first lesson, I start with what the student already knows and then evaluate what direction is best on a one on one basis. Each student is different and lessons are customized based on the students aptitude and interest.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took piano lessons for 10+ years and have my Certificate in Applied Music from the State of Missouri
