FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price my time at a simple $100/hr, which is less than when I was a co-founding partner at a company in San Francisco. On rare occaisions I will work for less, but only for the good of humanity or something I just cannot pass up. No one has ever complained that I cost too much - and that was at twice the rate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read blogs and tech articles / tutorials to keep up with website development, am a constant user and tester for Adobe products, and keep up on the latest cameras, audio equiptment, software and gear. Basically, I'm a chic but I'm a gear-head :)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was going to go to law school to make my dad happy. At about 19 years old, it occurred to me that we would both be happier if I was doing what suited my talents best and our relationship would prosper. I was not wrong. (just being honest here).
