- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat rate of $60 per hour to tutor at the customer's home or in a public location such as a library, coffee shop or book store. If the customer chooses to come to my home or have an online study session the rate is $30 per hour.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a high school math teacher I am required to take professional development courses to stay current on the latest instructional methods.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Math has been my favorite subject since grade school. I tutored throughout high school and college. I figure, if I understand the concepts, then I can try to help others understand it.
