Introduction: "If you give me a fish, I will eat it for the day, but if you teach me how to fish, I will eat fish for a lifetime." Teachers are so important and so are students. I feel successful when my students become the best, and that means even better than me. I always believe that each and every student has something unique, which he can contribute to the society individually as well as globally. I like to identify this uniqueness in each student and make him understand the concepts in his language! I have tutored several students in India as well as in the USA. My students range from diverse backgrounds and several demographics, right from 10-year-old school kids to 45-year-old business students of different nationalities. My tutoring experience includes the following: - Tutored students from diverse background and less knowledge of Excel and Advanced Mathematics - Explained terms and examples based on their work experience and knowledge so that they feel connected to the subject and understand key concepts of effective decision-making and modelling - Helped students frame and analyze business problems through Excel modelling, regression and key statistics concepts such as hypothesis testing and other statistical tests - Listened patiently to the student's problem to know his/her level of understanding and developed confidence through creative methods of teaching
