- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. Photography is a constantly changing field, so it requires a lot of continuous knowledge and growth to stay on top of the quickly evolving world of digital imagery.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
In this industry, cheaper does not necessarily mean better. You will often pay for what you get. That is, not all photographers are equal, so you should make sure you're getting the highest quality possible, which sometimes means a slightly higher price. If you want amazing photographs, then make that your priority. Obviously price is a variable when making the decision, but you need to be sure that the photographer takes the highest quality images too. Don't skip out on high quality work just because you want to pinch a few pennies, you may end up with work that is less than you had hoped for.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There is a lot more work that goes on behind the scenes. Many people see the photographer as someone who just takes photos, but in truth, each photographer is an artist in their own right, and the time invested into each client is much more than the amount of time it takes to do the initial photo shoot. We work to build a good relationship with you so that we know what you want and what will get you excited. The end result? Some amazing photographs that will last forever, something you'll be excited to show off to others.
