- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Priddy Positive K9s, LLC we offer several options for the dog owner. Behavioral consultations may be used when unknown or is just dealing with a single problem and will serve to help them choose what course should take. Group classes are offered through the Dude Ranch Training Academy. They give the owner an economical way to learn to train their dog and a small group setting. We also offer telephone consultations for the owner that is seeking a Solution to simple problem such as a housebreaking schedule or how to deal with a new dog coming into the family be it an adult dog or puppy. Our prices reflect the time and the expertise of the trainer.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach the owner how to train their dog using positive methods. The goal is to help the dog become an enjoyable member of the family. I cover a wide range of subjects: puppy training, Good Manners training, training for a Canine Good Citizen certification and competition obedience, rally and freestyle.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Training a dog is a process. It doesn't happen overnight. It takes patience and persistence. Success in changing animal behavior cannot be guaranteed by anyone. We are dealing with a living, individual creature and humans to boot! However, if all family members follow instructions, and learn to reward appropriate responses, success can be achieved in most cases.
