Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I teach at Washington University in St. Louis. I have taught students in U.S, Britain, and China. As a young professional, I can easily relate to my students. Besides emphasizing the fundamentals, I structured my classes to be fun and motivating for beginners. At the end of every lesson, I endeavor to make my student walk out with an "aha" moment as they gained new insights on music/piano playing. Credentials: 3rd Place in the 4th International Toyama Piano Competition; Highest Mark in International A-Level Music Performance & Composition; 1st Place in Shanghai Regional Piano Competition; Friends of Music Award from Washington University; 2nd Place in Washington University's Concerto Competition I love sharing my knowledge and witnessing the moments when my students overcame struggles to reach a higher level.

Hired on Thumbtack

Hired on Thumbtack

My daughter who is 12 had been taking piano lessons from the same teacher since she was 7, who was an esteemed music director for a very long time locally. When her teacher retired, she strongly encouraged me to find a teacher who is professionally trained, and was a very high quality teacher. I am so glad I took a chance with 'thumbtack' and found Sam. Sam has a natural ability to teach - I appreciate his encouragement with her, as well as his honest feedback. He is extremely knowledgable, and also as a younger teacher has been able to make music/ learning relateable. He is very kind, professional, always on time and very easy to get in contact with. I feel very fortunate that my daughter has the opportunity to study with him!
