- What types of customers have you worked with?
Labor only is getting more and more popular in the Charlotte NC area. With everyone trying to watch every penny it makes sense. Typically you will save money if you provide your own truck or use a POD, so this is the most common type of move.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently received a call from a young woman in the late afternoon who had scheduled a moving company for that afternoon. Unfortunately the moving company she had chosen did not show up. So needless to say she was in a panic about getting her apartment moved that night. But we were able to show up an hour later and successfully move her into her new home.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be picky with your moving company! There are a lot of "fly by night" companies out there. I have heard horror stories for years about movers. Typically you can tell from the first phone call with the moving company if they are professional or not, but if you are unsure have them do a walk-through to make sure they are the team you want responsible for your possessions.
