Introduction: I am a private chef and caterer. I prepare and deliver meals to families in Palm Beach County. During "season", I handle all aspects of organizing and preparing dinner parties for groups of up to 35, including, but not limited to, menu design, provision procurement, meal preparation and meal service.
I have at other times, over the past seven years worked in-house for several clients and performed all daily meal preparation on short-term assignments. I worked as a second chef as needed on several yachts moored during 'season" in Palm Beach.
I've also been the exclusive catering chef to the Palm Beach Garden Club for the past five years. I am happy to do smaller parties and luncheons. I am very detail oriented and have over 25 years of experience as a chef.

We have worked with Chef Leslie for years and from the moment we book & plan our events and parties to last plate of food being served, you are made to feel important and well taken care of!
Every detail is meticulously covered and not one stone left unturned. Creative food designers who can execute your ideas are hard to come by and Leslie is the BEST! Not only is Leslie flexible and understanding of your budget, she can make even the smallest gathering 5 stars!
Her culinary vision is amazing and she can adhere to allergies and special requests with ease. Our guests still rave about her dinner parties from years ago!! Desserts too? Oh yes, beyond fabulous!

The first time I met Leslie, she was the owner of Moonlight Bay Café on St. Pete Beach. I wandered in for lunch one day and was amazed at the quality of the food she served. I became a regular customer enjoying lunch and dinner there frequently. When I started making plans for my wedding, there was no question of who would be the caterer. Leslie did such a wonderful job with my reception and many of my guests became frequent customers of Moonlight Bay as well. In addition to my wedding reception, Leslie catered two large parties and many dinner parties and has also worked as a personal chef for me when my schedule was too busy to cook for my family. Leslie is a true professional and also friendly and personable. I recommend her without hesitation.

I have known Leslie for over twenty years going back to her Moonlight Bay days on St Pete Beach. Her culinary dishes were then and continue to be to die for. My husband and I dined at Moonlight Bay regularly and always took our special guests there so everyone would rave about the cuisine. She catered several affairs for us and we were completely comfortable allowing her to plan the entire menu. She never disappointed.
When we relocated to the Palm Beach area we were ecstatic to find Purple Basil Catering and our dear friend and chef Leslie. We quickly took advantage or wonderful service and have had her cater several of our parties and get togethers. We have recommended her to several of our friends and she amazes one and all.
I am happy to recommend her and am positive she will not disappoint.

Fantastic service - delicious food and beautiful presentation! Her pan fried lobster is to die for ... I've known Leslie for many years and had the good fortune to sample many of her creations. She catered my brothers engagement party to rave reviews and has cooked in my home several times. Highly recommended!
