Introduction: I truly love helping clients achieve living in a beautiful space/home in which they feel comfortable and happy with their surroundings. I have been practicing interior decorating and styling for 10 years, specializing in color palettes and paint selection, space planning and furniture selection and placement. I pay particular attention to organizing the spacial coordination between the volume and proportion of furniture in a space. I also place a great importance on selecting the proper accessories and art work to complete a room. Another area of expertise that I employ is that I am able to produce a variety of styles, according to your personal tastes. I endeavor to properly represent a clients vision and preferences. I am very careful to not press my own personal design style/preferences upon a client. I am very good at communicating with my clients, and am also a very good listener. I do an extensive consultation/interview with clients in order to really pinpoint their exact "likes and dislikes". I am a very creative thinker, and am good at solving design dilemmas, and also able to create a lot from a little! I also sew, and am able to fabricate custom designed bedding, drapes, throw pillows and accessories and recover/re-upholster furniture, etc. Being an artist, I can paint faux finishes, and organize and hang your artwork. Another specialty I can provide is using as much as possible of what items/furniture that you may already have, to incorporate your new design. I can also "work within a limited budget", and be able present some great ideas and solutions for your design needs.
