FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I moved to Wilmington in 2007 and met my best friend who worked as a professional wedding photographer. He and I studied Filmmaking together at UNCW, so we would practice our camerawork together all the time. During this time, together with what I learned in classes, I learned how to correctly control exposure and depth of field, in addition to refining my eye for composition. After working dozens of weddings with my friend as a second shooter. Early this year, I decided to do photography professionally and started Clarity Photography.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A good photographer strives to take photos that require the least amount of editing possible. Look carefully at the photos your potential photographer displays. Signs of over-editing are a warning flag.
