About

We are experienced, active, and trained jazz/swing and ballroom dance musicians. With myself on the saxes ( and/or clarinet and flute), and along with guitar, bass, all the way up to 16 piece big band, we can create a wonderful event for you. I have been playing in this region for 30 years, and am as active as ever including increased work with the area casinos, including playing and hiring horn sections for Wayne Newton, the Four Tops, and the Temptations. Randy's ensembles--big or small--provide wonderful music whether for your wedding dance or organization fundraiser! They're also great for dancers young or old. My husband and I enjoyed them at New Year's Eve, music in the park and even at our wedding. Great group I would DEFINITELY suggest you hire!

Randy is a great guy to talk to if you are looking for live jazz music of any variety. This guy is super organized, responsible, and reliable. He is invested in the success of every commitment he takes upon himself. He has a lot of quality music connections in the area and plays a mean sax.

I used Randy for the Harley Owners Group State Rally last year. His ensemble played Dixie Land music fitting for our ride. The group helped us kick off the ride that started in Duluth and followed the Mighty Mississippi River for 5 days. Randy is professional, on time and is a great musician.

Heard the Randy Lee Ensemble at an event at the Douglas County Historical Society this past weekend, and was absolutely blown away! I'm not even a Big Band fan, but these guys were so good that I thoroughly enjoyed the music. I would definitely hire this band!
