- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue seminars and workshops at the Southern California School for Floral Design to stay up to date with the newest trends. I also do tons of online webinars (The Knot, etc) and tons of research.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I came with my husband to the US I did not have a green card and started doing classes to keep me busy. I got hooked on the flower classes and started out by doing flowers for a friend's wedding. After working a few years in a flower shop I decided to started my own bussiness.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do a lot of personal flowers (bouquets and boutonnieres), ceremony decor (big arrangements in the church and pew decor as well as reception centerpieces.
