Introduction: My work stands out from others in this field because I begin and finish from a place of devotion, gratitude and inner strength. My daily spiritual practices include meditations, concentration exercises, Reiki self-treatment, and sunset prayer. By these daily practices, I am well grounded and geared to be able to hold the intention for love and light to enter our session, all the while maintaining a pure context of the client's nature, needs, goals and highest good in heart and mind. Although this seems simple, this process requires an exercised and disciplined mind & heart so that personal worries, desires and feelings do not enter the session. This allows for a very "pure" Reiki experience.
I love, absolutely love when I am about midway through a Reiki session and I feel the client totally absorbed in the experience of Reiki. I love being able to feel the client relaxed, restored, and just really establishing a sense of knowing that everything is going to be alright. I also love observing the client at the end of the session, when she sits up and all of the stress and fatigue from the her face and body is gone. I really experience a humble gratitude for that person and for the supportive healing experience that we have just shared.
