- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I am a strong believer in continuing education in regards to IT careers. My certifications are current and active. I have also been engaging higher education for over 15 years both on my own and at Universities. In my line of work one must keep current with the new technology trends.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a volunteer helping my High School repair and upgrade computers that were donated to us from Cal-Tech. My teacher noticed I had a knack playing with our previous computers so he let me take some donated computers home during the summer break. I had no idea how to fix them so I had to get computer manuals from the public library which eventually led me to fix them. After that I was like a sponge and absorbed easily the IT related tasks over the years.
