Introduction: Honestly, it's hard for me to answer that. There are so many amazing makeup artists out there. What I can say is that I take pride in my work. If YOU don't feel like a million bucks, then I haven't done my job and I will fix it. I am a perfectionist and believe I have the skill set to let my work do the talking for me. I have invested quite a bit into this career and my love for it only makes me want to get better. The end result. My journey to being a makeup artist started when I gave my roommate at the time a little make over before a couples photoshoot she had with her boyfriend. She looked at herself stunned, got tears in her eyes, and turned to me and said she had never felt beautiful before. So now, I don't let my clients look at themselves until I'm done and have taken a picture with a professional camera and show them how beautiful they are! I live for that reaction and it's the best feeling in the world knowing I got to help them feel great about themselves.

It was a complete honor to have Renee do our makeup for my birthday celebration. Even though I had never gotten my makeup done by a professional before, I had no worries because she was so amazing. We all felt so beautiful in every way and it was all because of her. She was hilarious, respectful, and very kind. If I knew the whole world I would recommend her to everyone because she's literally a makeup wizard or something, haha! She made sure everything was precise and her makeup was incredibly high quality. I would hire her again the next time I have a big event. Renee if you're reading this I wish you the best in your career, truly because I know that you will go far to your own potential. Never for up because you deserve everything God has in store for you :)

The price depends upon the job, what products I will need to use, and traveling expenses.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well I'm constantly learning from other artists and trying new things. I'm inspired by other artists and always want to try new techniques. I am a Paul Mitchell the School Sacramento graduate in Esthetics, as well as a Cinema Make-Up School graduate. I learned A LOT.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up, I got picked on. I got tired of feeling like an ugly duckling and decided I wanted to figure out how to be a "pretty girl" if I wasn't one like all of my "friends". Through makeup I found myself. I found my confidence and now I can look at myself without makeup on and say to my inner young girl "you're beautiful." My frustration with my own looks turned into a passion. Now I do makeup because I love it. Not because I feel like I NEED it to be "pretty" anymore. And I love providing a client of mine with the same confidence boost!
