How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this because I had an experience years ago trying to get my computer repaired. It showed me that people are not educated. Just bring the computer and we'll call you. I always feel people should know upfront what is being done so they can learn about technology during the repair.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would ask for their website and any social media links (YouTube, Facebook,LinkedIn or Twitter). Meet with them and ask how they can assist you with your problem and ask for a proposal before starting the job.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I am very interested in my clients making informed decisions when selecting and working with an IT Professional.
