- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We comprise a review of relevant comparable rental properties to reach an accurate rent range for each property. Each new property is advertised on over 30 rental web sites. The property is set up on an on-line management system with access through a portal for the new owner. Trained agents show the property. Each new prospective tenant is thoroughly vetted. New owners that currently live in the property are sent a move-out check list so the property is in move-in condition for the new renter. A walk-through, documentation inspection is completed by our Field Agent prior to a new renter moving in.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The owner of Advantage Homes started as a property manager/leasing agent in the '90s. She started Advantage Homes for Lease in 2002.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our clients are either individuals that own their own home and need to rent it out, small investors that own a handful or rental properties, or builders that need to rent out a property here and there.
