FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! I believe continuing education is the key to success. There is always something to learn. In the past year I have taken course work on: reflexology, clinical aromatherapy, working with depressed clines, ethical marketing, migraines, and self care techniques. I keep an up-to-date list of my education on my AMTA profile as well as my LinkedIn profile if you wish to learn more about me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a massage therapist after completing my undergraduate education in entrepreneurial studies and working in the corporate world for a few years. I knew "climbing the ladder" wasn't for me and wanted to lead a much simpler fulfilling lifestyle. I have always had a passion for caring for others and a gift for providing therapeutic touch.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most commonly I help people rehabilitate from soft tissue injuries such as sprains, strains, scare tissue formation, muscle contractions, and repetitive stress. When working with these issues it's often best to have multiple session especially if the condition is chronic or on going.
