- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was called by the Lord as a teenager to do full-time ministry and I ignored that call on my life until I was much older. He called me again in 1999 and this time I knew I had to answer this call. I'm so glad I did.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I meet with the bride and groom several times for premarital counseling and wedding ceremony preparations. On the day of the wedding, I oversee the ceremony preparations, check in with the bride and groom, and help with any last minute incidences that come up. In addition to the ceremony, I often am asked to offer a prayer before a meal at the reception, if one is being served.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find someone you can relate with well. They will be a valuable source of information, guidance and comfort on the most important day of your life.
