Hi, my name is Dave. I have been a student of Rising Star Vocal Studio for almost 9yrs. I have heard a great deal of improvement on my vocal skills. Im very proud, yet I have a few hurdles to tackle, very confident that Diane will help me through. I highly recommend these classes and Diane is excellent & patient teacher!

I asked Diane for a quick tune up of my vocals a few weeks prior to a big show. The basics, and quick assessment of lazy or bad habits were relayed. That lesson made a huge difference. Thanks coach !

I think it is to soon for me to give the review , because I am only on my second lesson with Diane. But so far I learn the range of my voice, how to take care about my voice. Diane is doing a great job, I think I need more lesson to give u many details, for now that all I can say.what could be improve is the environment of teaching, need more cpace.

Unfortunately, Sylvie wasn't able to continue lessons due to her growing activities as a pastor's wife and mother of three boys. However, she used what she learned in her short time as she sang on her church's worship team, and they noticed her improvement!

My one regret is not continuing my practice. Diane Delander's main goal was to raise my confidence to its fullest potential. Within a month's time, she did this through thoughtful words of encouragement, positivity and honesty. She really cared about my success just about more than I did. She was consistent and diligent with her work, while I was not. However, I strongly believe if I would have continued to to see her on a regular basis, as well as do my homework outside of class, I'd be really close to where I want my voice to be. She is an excellent coach and really knows what she is doing! Very professional.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Associate of Arts degree from Glendale Community College. Bachelor of Music, Voice Performance, degree from Arizona State University. One class by Seth Riggs, LA voice coach.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was in college a friend had a singing audition and needed some coaching. I obtained some vocal exercises from an older voice teacher I knew, and found I had an aptitude for instruction, and really enjoyed helping her prepare for the audition.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Children from age 13; adults who want to sing for fun, on church worship teams, or professionally, and retired adults for personal enjoyment. Also coached band singers.
