Marisa has cut and colored my hair a few times. She did an amazing job each time and was not judgmental about my attempts to "fix" my roots in between appointments. I really enjoyed my time there, too, in addition to the work she did. There is a mellow, relaxed feel to the place, with free coffee and water offered. I really recommend her to anyone! She is a wonderful hairstylist!

I have been going to see Marissa for my hair for over two years now. Without a doubt she is the best experience I have ever had in getting my hair done. She makes sure to listen to what you want, takes her time, and is very detail oriented. I have done all sorts of coloring and changed my hairstyle up multiple times. Each time Marissa has been able to give me exactly, if not better, than what I had went in wanting. I will go to see Marissa as long as she is in San Diego, I hope she never leaves!

Marissa always does a great job on my hair and when I want to try something new and different it turns out fantastic! She understands exactly what I want and she individualizes it to what is going to look the best on me. Also, I am sometimes not the best at explaining what I want but she is good at communicating with me and getting down to what it is Im trying to say. I have had her wax my eyebrows before as well and they were perfect!

Marissa is my dream stylist! She took me from dark brown to ombré to full blonde and has kept my hair healthy and beautiful the whole time. It is hard to find someone who truly listens to what you want and can help you describe and perfect your exact vision. Marissas' color skills are phenomenal, I really could not speak any higher volumes for her work! She continues to impress me everytime I go in to see her!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Of course! Continuing education is the key to success and creativity! I love learning new techniques and tricks from classes and even watching other stylists work. I get so excited when I learn something really cool and can't wait to take it back to the salon and show my co workers and clients! I take about 1-2 classes a month and constantly watch and ask questions to keep my mind open and always learning!
