Introduction: I am an experienced and licensed psychologist who helps individual adults, teens, and couples with issues such as anxiety/panic, anger control problems, depression, relationship problems, being "stuck" and men's issues. I have offices in SF and Marin, and I also provide services over the phone and secure video conferencing. If you are looking for someone to guide you in the therapy process who takes you seriously while being kind and compassionate, and who is skillful and experienced, but down-to-earth and easy to talk to, then I may be the right therapist for you. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I participate in ongoing professional development programs in order to stay up to date with the most current research and methods to be the most effective therapist for my clients. I also train and supervise mental health staff which is a great opportunity for me to stay sharp and maintain a solid knowledge base in sound psychological practices.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Finding the right therapist takes work, patience, and listening to your gut. I encourage you to interview a number of therapists in order to find the best "fit." I offer a no-charge 30 minute phone consultation in order to get the process started. If I am not the best fit, I am happy to recommend others whom I trust so you can find someone you feel will best fit your needs.
