Introduction: I am an experienced 280-hour yoga instructor. I am fortunate that my client base has been extremely varied; lending my teaching to a diverse population of bodies and personalities. My previous clients have included first responders, para-olympic athletes, ultra marathon runners, triathletes, new/beginning students, overweight, aging, pre/post natal mamas, and experienced practitioners. I specialize in slowing down the face-paced, and strengthening the weak. I offer two types of yoga; fitted exclusively to you and your needs: Yoga for strength, agility, and flexibility. I teach a strong vinyasa flow class heavily influenced by the Baptiste Power flow. I teach with a lot of attention, love, and humor. My classes are often described as fun and uplifting. Yoga for restoration, meditation, sleep, relaxation, or healing: I have the highest overall retention rate for this style, and I love teaching it. Yin yoga is a style of passive stretching where postures are held for 2 minutes to 20. Classes are often described as grounding, emotional, deep, and relaxing. This class can become your medicine.

Sarah offers individualized instruction with a spiritual experience. Classes range from inyense workouts to specialized training for students with special needs. These classes are a great experience!

Sarah does a wonderful job of bringing life and love to yoga. You can feel her "spirit" as she enters the room and welcomes each participant personally. She combines warmth, humor and knowledge to make each practice accessible and growth-inspiring ( is that a word??). Sarah gently offers adjustment and feedback. She honors where you are in your own journey and encourages your own growth and mastery at your own pace. Sarah is the best Yoga teacher I have had. You will love her, too!

Sarah has a beautiful presence and a contagious energy in her yoga classes. I could not wait to go to her next class and found myself traveling to multiple studio locations just to take her classes. Sarah has a unique ability to create flows that feel good, fill your spirit, and fall in love with yoga all over again. I miss her terribly!

I used to attend Sarah's class every week for about a year. She is by far my favorite yoga teacher I have ever had. Sarah is amazing. In addition to being really knowledgeable about teaching yoga, she always has these insightful words of wisdom about life, about your thoughts and mindset during the poses. That's something I have often missed with other teachers. Sarah doesn't even know it, but she helped me through a difficult time in my life and I'll never forget it. -Sonia from New York

Sarah is one of the few instructors I have met who strikes just the right balance of clarity, humor and intuition. I felt extremely comfortable in her classes. For several of the classes, she had students with a range of physical limitations and she provided multiple modifiers for the more difficult poses. And With Sarah's guidance , I finally found the confidence to tackle inversions.
