- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am offering private instruction to thumbtack customers at a 50% discount below what I normally charge for one hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically as new customers to explain what their specific needs and goals are in wanting to learn self defense. In the first lesson I give a brief overview of what exactly Wing Tsun Kung Fu is and how it can fil those specific needs. Before the second lesson starts, I produce a customer=specific training regimen that takes into account the length of time the customer wants to train and the frequency of lessons he wants to take with the goal of maximizing his results considering the time invested.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began training in traditional Shotokan Karate in 1978, was introduced to Wing Tsun in 1981, and have never looked back. I have learned directly from Great-Grandmaster Leung Ting from 1984 to 2004. From 1993 to 2000 I learned from SIfu Emin Boztepe. Since 2011, I have joined Bay Moutnain Wing Tsun and have learned from Dai-Sifu Simon Mayer and the Founder of "The Art of the Warrior" Wing Chun, Grandmaster Martin Hofmann. I hold a 3rd Instructor Level in Bay Mountain Wing Tsun and was conferred the title of "Sifu" in 2013.
