Introduction: I provide personal catering, private chef services, cooking classes, healthy-eating education, and personal shopping. I aim to provide clients with all-natural and organic ingredients to promote healthy eating and clean living. We offer a custom menu based on your food interests as well as your specific diet. We shop for food, prep, cook, and serve your event or dinner that very same day. I only use fresh, all-natural and organic ingredients to showcase each food item's incredible flavor and unique quality. Along with personally catering events or dinners, I can also provide the following: * Private chef -- to cook in your home for dinner once, twice, three times or up to five times a week * Cooking classes -- to learn specific recipes, cuisines, knife skills, kitchen tips and tricks, cooking methods, and food product knowledge and to understand flavor components in the comfort of your home or event space * Healthy-eating education for the gluten-free dieters (Celiac's disease) or the diabetic. I can introduce you to a new way of living. From grocery shopping to cooking for a family of four, I am able to teach you the ins and outs of how to survive these food-related diseases with proper food and cooking education. * Personal shopping -- This is designed for the busy working individual or family. I can restock your pantry and refrigerator with fresh and healthy produce, meats, and grocery items. As an additional option, I can continue the path to success with prepping these ingredients and food items ready to be cooked or built into a salad or dish.

Chef Florvil Valdez has previously offered his services as a Personal Chef several times for our family in 2012 and 2013. He has personally catered our granddaughter's birthday party, our birthday celebrations, our 4th of July BBQ, and most recently an association Christmas party. Each and every event has proven his exquisite attention to detail and his excellent customer service. He has worked both alone and with his crew of cooks and servers depending on the size of our events. He was recommended to us by a family friend in Las Vegas and we would love to do the same for any future client of his. Chef Flo, as he likes being called, is always vested in our family's best interest when it comes to creating menus and planning for the event. He always hits the nail on the head and delivers the best tasting food and excellent service. He is an "above and beyond" type of person. There is always a sense of relief the day of our events when Chef Flo is in our home kitchen, a quality that is much deserved and well earned. I have used other caterers and chefs in the past. The main difference is his constant strive to make us feel comfortable and satisfied with his services. He has always prepared a remarkable Mediterranean style menu, as requested. His food never disappoints. His work ethic and organization is what I enjoy the most in the kitchen. It is never a mess and always appears to have no trace of production at the conclusion of each event. He is clean, efficient, and runs a tight kitchen. Chef Flo is also very inviting into "his" kitchen. Our guests are never shooed away but rather welcomed with answers to their many questions. If anything, his services are an additional entertainment for our guests. Chef Florvil Valdez is always welcome in our home and should be in yours. You will not be disappointed if you choose him to provide his services for you and your family.

Where do I even begin?! I don't think a review on Thumbtack will do Serve M.E Now any justice! I was referred to Chef Flo by my cousin and from beginning to end, Serve M.E. Now catered (literally) to all my needs! From his responsive timing, flexibility with my budget, and even to our custom menu, Chef Flo couldn't have accommodated my every request more perfectly. Serve M.E Now came to my home for the event and cooked on site, providing all the materials themselves. It gave a nice vibe to our party of having a "personal chef". Chef Flo was extremely organized and never had me concerned about what was going on in the kitchen for a second. But aside from the awesome customer service provided, the food was AH-MAY-ZINGGGGG!! I had so many compliments on our "light-colored foods" lunch spread for my sister's All-White Themed bridal shower. (Word of advice: order the Smoked-Turkey w/ Arugula Mayonnaise sandwhiches if you ever have the chance!) I can't wait til my next big event to 1000000% hire Serve M.E. Now again! =)

I would give 10 STARs if I could!! I had the pleasure of having Chef Flo hold a coking class for family and friends this past summer for my daughter's baptism, and he did not disappoint! What fun we had learning how to make our own pasta, cooking up the yummiest bolognese (I've eaten my way through many large cities and his bolognese is tough to beat!) and picking up so many new cutlery skills! Everyone went home with a batch of their own home made pasta, a full belly, and lots of smiles! To this day I still hear about "that awesome cooking party"! My daughter's first birthday is coming up and Chef Flo will be in attendance once again-- I know his cooking stations are gonna be a hit, again! This Chef is LEGIT. Reliable, huge personality, and hands down an awesome cook...your event cannot go wrong with him heading up your kitchen!!

Despite the EXTREMELY last minute catering request, I feel I still received stellar service. In a span of one week, we were able to coordinate a customized brunch menu within my price range. And though we ran into some issues with the food options we discussed and the venue (unable to actually cook any food at the place itself), Florvil and his team were able to adapt to accommodate what we could without compromising the integrity of the menu. They were there early for set-up and stayed for clean-up. For a last-minute endeavor, I was definitely impressed. Needless to say, the food got excellent reviews from my guests, and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend Serve M.E. Now!

I hired Chef Flo to cook a birthday day for my eldest son and my family. He created a menu with my request of it being strictly Vegetarian and Gluten-Free. He is so knowledgeable about eating healthily and taught me some tricks for shopping at Whole Foods Market. I believe he worked for the company many years. Anyway, he came into our home with a smile on his face and a professional attitude. He entertained my two youngest sons, 11 & 9, as they were very interested in cooking. I did notice that he likes to clean as he cooks. I like that because that makes for a less messy kitchen in the end. His family-style plating was very elegant for it being family-style. He was organized and on time with his service. I like that he left my kitchen as if we never had a special dinner. The only memory we had of it was in our stomachs and some great memories. Chef Flo is a great chef. if you're looking for a personalized and special event to be catered, I would highly recommend his services.

When inviting anyone into your own home or event, find someone that understands your palate and unique wants. A personal chef is meant to be an extension of your kitchen and menu desires. The perfect partnership with a personal chef is someone that can take your likes and dislikes and create the most unique and exciting menu for your event or dinner.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I am a single father of a beautiful 9-year old daughter. I understand how great it is to gather around the kitchen with your family with some amazing smelling and tasting food. The kitchen is the center of most homes and as someone that delights in bringing his own family into one, I know a thing or two to bring your family, friends, and guests into your kitchen to teach them that cooking is more than a job, it's an art!
