FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I regularly take online classes to improve my skills in DSLR cameras, learn challenging fixes in Adobe Photoshop, and focus on video editing in Apple iMovie, and Adobe Premier Pro.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a huge influence on me in my younger years. He worked with only the finest portrait cameras, Kodak film, and archive-quality Kodak photo paper. Because I liked his work so much, I bought my first camera when I was 10 and I loved following in his footsteps. Fast forward to the year 2009 when I bought my first Apple product--the iPhone. Soon afterwards I got the MacBook Pro and then the iPad with retina display. The dozens of photography apps gave me a whole new world of artistry to explore, one that I wish I could have shared with my dad who died suddenly several years back. He would have been more than thrilled with the world of digital photography! With him in mind, I purchased my first DSLR, the Nikon D5200, and now I am forever hooked.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was very happy to assist a good friend of mine photographing San Francisco Giants baseball star Angel Pagan at the San Francisco Macy's store.
