Introduction: Simple Yoga aims to provide a comprehensive approach to Yoga by bringing yogic philosophy together with a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology. However, Simple Yoga instructors also understand that there is some information only the practitioner has access to. By taking into consideration the idiosyncrasies of individual bodies and minds, I hope to empower practitioners by inviting them to listen deeply to their own bodies in order to discover what's already there. Not even an expert yogi can tell a student how a pose is feeling in his or her body at a particular moment. This is information best available to the student. I hope to provide the guidance and support necessary for my students to access information deep within themselves which will enable self-healing and self-transformation. I can teach a variety of styles of yoga to all levels of experience but my passion is working with individuals who are seeking a wholistic yoga practice; one which balances the cultivation of strength and flexibility with the cultivation of a peaceful mind. An initial session will determine what style and pace is best-suited to the needs of the individual.

I've had the pleasure of learning yoga from Taylor Rogers for the past two years. Taylor's greatest strengths as a teacher are her attention to her students' needs, her ability to create a peaceful, reflective atmosphere, and her knowledge of the body. Taylor often begins classes by asking students what they would like to focus on throughout the class. This gives students agency in their yoga practice and ensures that any tension or aches and pains are addressed. Through Taylor's thoughtful instruction, I have learned a great deal about how to practice yoga as a way of taking care of myself physically and emotionally and especially how to care for my body as a runner. Taylor helps her students improve their practice by gently adjusting students in their poses. In doing so, she always respects students' boundaries by asking before making physical adjustments. Overall, I would give Taylor the highest recommendation as a yoga teacher. She's wonderful!

I have been one of Taylor’s students for about 6 months, over a couple of years. As a beginner, she introduced me to the discipline, the essence and the advantages of yoga. The positions she explained were always clear and right for my abilities. She taught me to listen to my body and be pleased about it. The hours spent with her were always very helpful for my overall well being and brought new body awareness and movement capability for me. Her class made me feel regenerated, peaceful and open to the surrounding environment. I wish I could have the opportunity to take her class again in the future
