Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Above all else I have spent my time trying out every type of photography/videography I could get my hands on. I enjoy the thrill of working in a new genre, with a new medium, or in a way I hadn't previously thought of. I have experience in a wide range of subjects and I pride myself on being able to adapt to any situation as needed. I love never doing the same thing twice, creating images that have never been seen before, working with new people and new ideas, and most of all being my own boss.

Skylar is a great photographer. He can usually make himself available with fairly short notice, has shot all sorts of events for us, and has turned out great photos that we've used across various medium, including web, print, and in video montages. He's a photographer I regularly trust.

I've worked with Skylar on a number of shoots for Northeastern University. He's a talented photographer and I always look forward to collaborating on projects with him.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was going to college and studying psychology and I needed a job. So I got one working in the photo lab on campus. They taught me how to use a film camera and develop the film and later the photos and I fell in love with it all. One semester later I had switched my major and from then on I've tried every type of photography/camera/subject matter I could get my hands on.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look at someones body of work, talk to them about their process, see how flexible and collaborative they are. A lot of photographers can take a good photo, but it's a lot harder to take the specific photo that is on your clients mind.
