I can't even begin to put into words what working with Peggy and Michael Ireland of Snap Happy Picture People has meant to me. At the time of our first photoshoot, my father had been fighting terminal cancer for 10 year (when we were only given 6 months) and we knew that we were closing in on the end. Little did we know that we only had a week left with dad. My dad was kinda an "over-the-top" guy and so once again, for the last time, my brother and dad put on their tuxedos and I put on a gown and we had a photoshoot like we used to when we were little! Peggy photographed us and we spent that precious time making memories! Three or four weeks before that, I had found out that I am expecting my first baby, so we have now had 2 maternity photoshoots and I can't be more pleased. I love their work! My partner loves their work, and with all the accolades the pictures are receiving from all of my friends and family on social media (of which there are a lot), I can tell you that their work is nothing short of amazing!

We've actually had two shoots with the Ireland's. After my maternity shot went so well I hired them to do our infant session and they knocked it out of the park. Peggie is a photographic genius when it comes to actually shooting our newborn. Michael didn't shoot but made sure everything ran smoothly with the shoot.

I had a maternity shoot done by Michael. I was so nervous since I really didn't have any experience but he really helped me open up, pose and get some good pictures! By the end of the shoot I was so comfortable. I would definitely not have a photo shoot done by anyone else! Such amazing work!

Have worked with Peggie & the Snap Happy crew many times now, family portraits, kids, & boudoir. Each and every time so professional and fun, she's great with kids, and always makes me feel and look beautiful and confident. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We don't like nor use a complicated pricing system at all. We keep things simple. We NEVER shoot on an hourly basis. Even if we make less money overall, we focus on customer happiness. So if we have a shoot that's estimated to go two hours and we're not happy with the results, we'll stay until we're happy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Michael is a technology junkie. If there's new technology chances are he already knows about it and has already purchased it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
It all depends on trends and the time of the year. Right now, summer is here. We're doing a ton of outdoor family portraits. Washington Parks are absolutely beautiful. When you mix in a happy family you make some pretty magical photos.
