My sister in law ordered a diaper cake, candy centerpiece and a baby shower book from Latoya upon hearing about a shop in the flea market. I was suprised to see that she was able to match everything to the theme of the shower. The diapers didn't match the ladybug design but decorations did. The centerpiece was nice and my sister set it up by the baby bookso the ladies signed in and filled out envelopes. The shower book made the party flow. Besides me their were two other guys and it included activities especially for us so the woman really enjoyed that. The guest commented on a lot of things about the party, but the book is what thrilled us the most. You get your money's worth. There were pages aboutthe baby's first friends, favorites and family tree. Games using chocolate, clothes, pampers. It was nice. Not having any more babies anytime soon, but I would do it again the same way.

Toya suggested to make me a profile book for my daycare. I have been in operation for so long, she said it would be nice for future clients to actually see how long I've been in business. It took about a week to make it and she implied that I leave it at the foot of the entrance of my daycare. It's the first thing the client sees. Great business ethics.

As business advances, I plan to attend classes in sewing and advanced die cutting.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoy keeping momentous of my children's accomplishments. Therfore, I got into scrapbooking and opened a shop which lead into baby showers and children's parties.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I provide handmade books for baby showers and entrepreneurs. These books allow customers to see how many children a provider has taken care of over the years. Marketing made easy for today's entrepreneurs ;showing the product and holding business cards for a perfect fit in a purse or under the seat of a car.
