Introduction: As a working professional in the industry and studying voice for 20+ years, I have a firm grasp on vocal health and development. I share this knowledge with my students. My business has grown from word of mouth because I teach healthy vocal habits and I believe in nurturing the individual passion I see from each student. Each student is different and has different goals and talents. I find great joy in helping create confidence while strengthening skill in each of my students. I love to watch my students apply a new tool or way of singing a note and see how surprised they are at themselves when the note comes out stronger than it had before. It is a joy to watch my students improve and confidence grow.

Sonnet is a fantastic voice teacher. She has helped me with technical voice training and style. She's encouraging and no-nonsense at the same time. She made me excel as a singer. I'm thankful for her instruction.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been singing all my life. Sharing my knowledge of voice happened very organically as people I knew asked if I would teach them and word of mouth traveled. I then began to build around that growth and branched out to teach more and more students. As my vocal career has developed, so has my teaching. Both are very rewarding.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There are lot of singing teachers out there. Please make sure you pick a teacher who is educated in vocal health and will help improve your voice not hurt it. Also, you want a teacher who is supportive of your development and self-expression.
