- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Along with my innate styling skills, I was a clothing designer for over twenty years. I have knowledge of fabric, fit and construction. I have designed for women of varying, sizes, lifestyles and budgets.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up, Diane was always using her innate creative talents to transform her clothing and design her own jewelry. Since she can remember, she has always been the go-to person when others need help shopping or putting together a great outfit. It became apparent to her, that it was not only the celebrities with the celebrity bank accounts that needed some help creating a wardrobe they felt great in. And so she created Stylempower for busy woman, who needs a little help getting herself together and feeling the confidence that comes with it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Many of my clients like to shop, they buy lots of stuff and then open their closet and "have nothing to wear." They are overwhelmed! Can you relate? They need a trained eye to get rid of the clutter, help them find hidden gems in their closet that they didn't know they had and then give them styling guidelines that they can takeaway for future reference.
