Introduction: I am a detail-oriented, conscientious worker, an excellent collaborator, and I'm eager for a new challenge. I have extensive experience with the following: * project management/entrepreneurship in the arts (music, theater, film/video, performance) * team building and collaboration * creating and implementing education programs for youth K-12 (youth empowerment, literacy, self-esteem and self-expression) * facilitating/teaching/professional development in arts and literacy (for children, youths, and adults) I am also an experienced tutor, providing homework help; meeting Common Core standards in English Language Arts, GED prep and English As A Second Language; as well as support in writing and editing. I spent the past 12 years working in education and the arts in New York City, though I'm originally from Los Angeles. Since moving back to LA 11 months ago, I've been working steadily as an arts and education consultant for initiatives I believe in. I am particularly adept at building teams to accomplish goals, collaborating with diverse partners, and carrying out detailed plans to implementation and evaluation. I get along well with all kinds of people, and I enjoy taking on difficult and inspiring challenges.
