Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am YogaFit certified, and I have yoga instructor insurance. I can provide references for my style of teaching from students. I have been practicing yoga since I have been 10 years old. I believe in yoga and how wonderful it is for the body and the mind. I have worked in corporate for 10 years, and I still do consulting projects, so I can provide practical strategies for managing stress and finding that elusive balance. I like to describe the yoga classes that I teach as an intermediate dynamic hatha yoga practice that incorporates movement and breath that will keep the heart pumping, relieve stress, fire up your core and build strength in the upper body and legs. Keeping with the spirit of yoga, my classes are moving meditations where I do gentle, guided meditations for the students, reminding them of the strength of their bodies, minds and souls as they settle in the physical poses. I do hands-on adjustments as needed for proper alignment and form. I encourage the use of props to have the student in proper alignment. The following is how a typical one-hour yoga class taught by me looks like. * First phase: 5 to 10 minutes of warm-up with Pranayam breathing, guided meditation for centering and gentle yoga poses. * Second phase: 35 to 40 minutes of moderate to brisk workout with more active yoga poses followed by inversion. * Third phase: 10 minutes of restorative calming poses with a two- to three-minute guided final relaxation I may adjust the length of the second and third phase by five minutes here and there depending on your energy levels. If you are interested, I can add a challenge pose. I love helping people see how yoga can help them achieve physical and mental well-being. I am open to doing a demo class for you to ensure we are a good fit for each other.
