FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We generally work on an hourly basis for our clients, at a rate of $155/hr. Most mid-level roles (such as office managers, paralegals, and HR Generalists) will conservatively take about 10-15 hours a week of recruiting time, and a minimum of three weeks to fill. More specialized, senior, or technical/professional roles can take longer, and we're happy to allot additional hours per week to fill the job faster. Admins and entry-level roles tend to be high-flow, fill quickly, and range anywhere from $3,100 to $5,500. More technical and specialized roles will be more expensive, sometimes close to $10,000 for C-levels and equivalent. Most traditional recruiters (e.g. Robert Half, Manpower, Kelly, Nelson, etc.) will typically charge a percentage of the new hire's annual salary as their recruiting fee, ranging from 20-35% - so a $50,000 salary role will run $10,000 to $17,500 in recruiting fees. Even at our most expensive, our fees will still be less. We're also happy to negotiate a flat fee, which some of our clients prefer because they know precisely what the cost of our services will be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first spend some time getting to know the person or company, nailing down skillsets in terms of essential elements and nice to haves.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been recruiting for many years, both in a large agency (contingency) model and hourly based. I practiced law for nearly 13 years helping my analysis and writing skills. I attend skills-building workshops for interviewing, sourcing, and managing the hiring process, in addition to leading workshops on hiring for solo-preneuers and small businesses. I love working with passionate business owners who are growing!
